LATEST addition to the Spaldings welding kit line-up, a respirator helmet, gives the operator a constant flow of clean filtered air.

Worn on a padded propylene belt, the unit has a quick-change filter housing for easy servicing, and its eight-hour Ni-cad battery can be charged either separately or on the unit. Typical recharge time is about 12 hours.

The operator can adjust air flow between 150-200 litres/min, and the respirator price is £307 (01522-500600).
