The special award to the harness maker exhibiting the best display of his own work went to first time exhibitor Jerry Climpson of Climpson Harness, Littleover, Derbys. Jerry makes both work and show harness for heavy horses and private driving harness and has been running his own enterprise for just over a year and a half and is assisted by Emma ODriscoll.
