Perennial ryegrass – perennial problem. Overcast conditions made harvesting this seed crop a stop-start process for Matt Childs at Richard Browns Hill Farm, Keyston, Cambs. The 18ha (44 acres) of Elgon was grown on contract for Sharpes International, yielding 0.5t/acre.
