Brigadier winter wheat went into a super seed-bed on David Maughans farm at Morton Tinmouth West, Bolam, Darlington, Co Durham last week. Sprayed-off grassland was ploughed down by brother Peter, leaving ideal conditions for the combination drill to follow close behind, with Cambridge rolls finishing the job.
