Maendy didnt win the panto competition. Oh yes they did… The Welsh group collected the top award with their production of Dreams and Dragons in the national final at the Pavilion Theatre. They beat off stiff competition from Whitley Chapels Aladdin and Launcestons Snowy Spice and the Seven Short Blokes. "All showed great enthusiasm, talent and guts," said judge Colin Thompson.
