David and Margaret Gray marked the start of Farmhouse Breakfast Week (Jan 24-30) by hosting a traditional cooked breakfast at Park Farm, Sibton, Suffolk. This week marks the start of a new campaign to convince people of the health benefits of eating good quality home-produced food in the morning.

One fifth of schoolchildren and 30% of parents start the day without eating breakfast, mainly because of lack of time or oversleeping, claims an NFU survey.
