• FARMERS For Action, NFU of England and Wales, and FUW are to meet Tesco at Birmingham next Thursday (May 4) where milk prices will be high on the agenda.
Tesco has refused to add 5p a litre to retail milk prices to pass back to farmers because it claims the move would be illegal.
But according to FFA spokesman Rhys Parry, FUW lawyers who will also be present at the meeting, believe that their research proves that is not so.
