uWEST Country Grain marketing co-op is offering half-price marketing services to new members signing up before July 14. The reduced charges will be 85p/t for one year. uCATTLE on the over 30-months scheme must be accompanied with a new version of the application form OTM17 to qualify for compensation, says the Intervention Board. The new form has a reference "ver 3.3 Jan 2000" in the bottom right-hand corner. Old applications using the reference "ver 2.1 Nov 97" will only be accepted until June 30.
