Are ewe impressed?… A ewe at Warborough Farm, Oxon, recently gave birth to seven lambs helping to maintain a lambing percentage of 210%, says Anthony Good. The 2000-ewe flock of homebred sheep were artificially inseminated to help squeeze lambing into a single week, thats one ewe lambing every five minutes, says Mr Good. Mixed semen is used, which explains why both black and white faced lambs were born from the same mother, he adds.
