Farming Company has had a change
of policy, which prompted a dispersal
sale. FW went along on a bitter day to
see how things went
Sir Charles Legard and farm manager Steve Keyworth, both of Scampston Farming Company peruse the catalogue. The company no longer plans to grow potatoes and keep sheep.
A New Holland TX36 combine with 1287 hours on the clock was much sought after. It sold for £33,000. Irrigation equipment also sold well, with pipes making £33/length.

Cundalls auctioneer Peter Woodall was hard at work. The sale attracted a good crowd of punters from around the country, with modern equipment selling well. The best tractor, a Case 120, made £16,500.
This 1983 International tractor model 785 with Quickie loader sold for £1500.
