THE Easy Fit sow feeding trough will fit most types of farrowing crate – even those which will not accept conventionally shaped troughs, promises manufacturer Rainbow Valve.

Manufactured from heavy duty polypropylene, the trough tapers from 450mm wide at the top to 400mm at the bottom. This makes it easy to fit inside virtually any type of farrowing crate says the company. Troughs cost £16.13 each, and anti-bite rims can be supplied, costing a further £2.80 (01359-250238).
