ATV mobility invention to be built by Frasier
farmers weeklys annual inventions competition has come up trumps.
An entry by Staffs farmers Stanley and Martin Price is to be made commercially by low ground vehicle specialist TJ Frazier.
The Rural Pursuits Vehicle – an all-terrain vehicle designed to allow those with mobility problems to participate in a whole range of rural pastimes and activities – is powered by a 13hp petrol engine and has a hydrostatic four-wheel drive system controlled by a joystick.
Frazier says it is fine-tuning and field testing the prototype machine and full production should start in June. *
