A PACKED ringside at Chelford for the British Belgian Blue Cattle Societys sale last Saturday produced three top bids of 3000gns.
Leading bull price was given for Hazelwood Nelson from D M and S M Hazel, Luton. This naturally born blue son of Hazelwood Jake and out of a Greystone Banko dam was bought by M Arnold, North Walsham, Norfolk.

The Woods family from Preston shared top price with a 3000gns sale of their heifer Bannister Las Vegas, offered with a bull calf by the 1997 Royal Show champion Battlesden Marshall Miggs. Buyer was Mrs * R Walker, Carmarthen. The 31 pedigree females averaged £1772.
The commercial section saw 48 cross-bred steers level at £680 and 53 cross-bred cows at £581. (Frank R Marshall and Co)n
