Belting tool for in-field use

JOINING bale chamber belts can be a difficult procedure if the task has to be carried out in the field with limited tools and equipment.

To make the task less difficult, Spaldings has brought out an Alligator belt joining tool which is designed to be used in the field without removing the belt from the baler.

Available in 17cm and 34cm (7in and 14in) widths, the Alligator drives in a row of rivets from force provided by a 1lb hammer.

The Alligator is designed to work with joining links in 10cm to 34cm (4in to 14in) widths which can be cut to fit most makes of baler, says Spaldings (01522-500600).
