Bombers target farm supply firm

ANIMAL rights extremists are believed to be behind a letter-bomb attack on an agricultural supply firm, reports The Independent.
The device, a nail bomb in a padded envelope, was sent to a shop on the outskirts of Sheffield on Tuesday (30 January).
It was defused by Army bomb disposal experts.
A bomb was also sent to a charity shop in Lytham St Annes in Lancashire, and police are linking these to seven previous incidents.
In one attack a woman working for an estate agent which deals with livestock auctions in East Yorkshire suffered a serious eye injury opening a parcel.
And a farmer suffered facial injuries when he opened a package containing a nail bomb.
