Booker share surge on bid speculation

SHARES in food distributor Booker surged again yesterday over renewed speculation that a rival company could be planning a takeover.

Bookers shares have jumped more than 21% over the past week. Analysts say Germanys Metro or Americas Walmart are the likely predators.
