Brussels clears agrochem merger
THE merger of the agrochemical divisions of Novartis and AstraZeneca, has been approved by European Commission regulators.
To satisfy anti-trust investigators the two companies have agreed to divest products worth $340m (224m) reports the Financial Times
Shares in the new company, Syngenta, will be will be worth about $15bn.
