THE long-awaited results of two investigations into the disastrous Institute of Animal Health experiment on BSE in sheep are due next week.
The audits are expected to explain how scientists came to use cattle brains in a four-year, £250,000 experiment that was looking for BSE in sheep.
The government has been criticised for a delay in publishing the audits, carried out by risk assessment company, Risk Solutions and the UK Accreditation Service.
A DEFRA spokesman said copies have had to be checked by officials at the institute "to make sure they are accurate". *
