Buffer zones made easy
BUFFER zone compliance is made easier with the Multicrop recording system, says designer Farmade.
The package warns of potential infringements by cross referencing recommended applications with field information stored on the computer.
An on-screen warning appears when entering recommendations allowing the user to amend the planned application area or product to be used. That warning is copied to the fields application record and can be used to show that buffer restrictions are observed, says commercial director, Peter Henley.
The whole system costs £800 but existing Multicrop users systems will be updated with the buffer zone software free of charge, the company says. *
