Bull-charge case settled out of court

BULL-CHARGE victim Paul Foskett has settled out of court for an undisclosed sum after originally planning to sue Scottish farmer Graham McClymont for £80,000.

Foskett, of Lowford, Southampton, had sued McClymont, of Slockmill Farm, Drummore, by Stranraer, after the bull charged him and threw him over a wall into stinging nettles.

The incident happened in 1993 when Foskett was working on McClymonts farm, testing a radar system for Southampton University, where he was a research assistant.
