Bull prices slightly down at Paisley
AVERAGE bull price was slightly down, but this section produced the top price of 2600gns at the latest sale of Holstein Friesians at Paisley.
The highest bid came from Ordens Farms, Banff, for Stair Stopper Smichael, a Mascott son from * C Kennedy, East Carngillan, Ayr.
Another bull, the Rotate Jed sired Cauldcoats Jed, made 2000gns to W A Galloway and Sons, Newton Stewart. It was consigned by D Laird, Dalkeith.
AVES: 28 heifers £895 and 12 bulls £1366 (A J Wilson and Co).
