Callers jam HGCA levy survey fax line

By FWi staff

RESPONSE to a recent MAFF mailing on behalf of the Home-Grown Cereals Authority has been so good that the free fax number given to growers has jammed.

Paul Biscoe, chief executive of the HGCA, said he delighted with the response so far which saw more than 1000 replies in the first day.

The mailing was intended to update the HGCAs list of levy-payers

“In fact weve been so inundated with fax replies weve had some initial teething troubles keeping up with the large number received.

There are 12 lines available, but if farmers cant get through when they try the fax line the HGCA would like farmers to use the freepost fold-in envelope supplied.
