Case launch CT range of combines

DESPITE determined attempts to maintain the individuality of Case and New Holland branded products, the gap grows inexorably closer.

At Agritechnica, Case introduced the CT range of conventional combines which, as company terminology puts it, are New Holland derivatives.

Based on the New Holland TX combines, the five straw-walker CT 5050 and 5060, and the six straw-walker CT 5070 and 5080 are fitted with the new 2030 cutter table – similar to that employed in New Hollands CX combine range.

Case also launched three big square balers – the LBX 331, LBX 421 and the LBX 431 – which are badged New Holland BB models.

As the company points out, product commonality is clearly an economy of scale for holding company CNH, it continues to make sense where there are strong Case product strongholds, for the company to market Case branded products. &#42
