Charles shrugs off GM criticism
THE Prince of Wales remains defiant of criticism of his opposition to genetically modified crops, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Prince Charles said he had learned to shrug off personal attacks and vowed to continue speaking out on the issue of GM technology, says the paper.
The Prince was speaking at the twentieth anniversary celebrations of the Alternative Bristol Cancer Help Centre, of which he is patron.
Proponents of GM technology maintain he is ill-advised on the subject of GM crops and have accused him of ignoring science.
