CJDfrom vaccine?

THE BSE inquiry has confirmed that it has not yet ruled out the possibility that variant CJD may have been caused by vaccines manufactured from infected cattle and not from eating beef.

A spokeswoman for the inquiry confirmed that the vaccine link was a line of inquiry that would probably be pursued in the second phase of hearings. But she added that other theories, including organophosphates, would also be examined.
