Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 official trailer drops
Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan and Jeremy Clarkson © Amazon Prime Video Amazon has released the official trailer for Clarkson’s Farm 5, with the latest instalment promising high-tech machinery, mounting financial pressure and one of the darkest seasons yet for Diddly Squat Farm.
The new eight-part series will launch globally on Amazon Prime Video on 3 June 2026, with episodes one to four released immediately, followed by episodes five and six on 10 June and the final two episodes on 17 June.
The latest series opens dramatically, with TV-presenter-turned-farmer Jeremy Clarkson recovering from a major health scare that leaves him under strict orders from doctors to slow down.

However, the trailer quickly makes clear that rest is not an option as pressure mounts across the business.
Alongside the day-to-day demands of running Diddly Squat Farm, Mr Clarkson is also juggling continuing problems linked to the Farmer’s Dog pub venture and preparing for its first festive season.
At the same time, fallout from the government’s new Budget – particularly proposals to introduce inheritance tax on agricultural assets – has sent shockwaves through the farming sector, adding further uncertainty and financial pressure.
In a bid to ease the workload, Mr Clarkson introduces a new flock of Easycare sheep to the farm. The breed, known for requiring less labour and intervention, is intended to simplify operations, although the trailer hints that the plan does not entirely go smoothly.
Technology fascination
A major storyline throughout the new series centres on Mr Clarkson’s growing fascination with agricultural technology after visiting the UK’s largest farming expo.
Inspired by what he sees, he becomes determined to modernise Diddly Squat with cutting-edge machinery and precision farming systems.
That decision sparks one of the series’ most anticipated moments as young farm manager Kaleb Cooper leaves the UK for the first time to accompany Mr Clarkson on a road trip to the Netherlands.
There, the pair visit some of Europe’s most advanced farms, where robotic systems and autonomous machinery are already transforming food production.
The trip appears to convince Mr Clarkson that the future of farming lies in automation.
Back in Oxfordshire, fields are scanned using lasers, robot tractors begin taking over field work and new technology is introduced across the farm in an effort to improve efficiency and reduce labour demands.
The trailer describes it as “the rise of the machines”, while teasing the familiar clashes between Mr Clarkson and Mr Cooper as traditional farming methods collide with expensive new gadgets and ambitious ideas.
Things turn dark
Despite the humour, the programme also appears set to tackle some serious issues facing British agriculture.
The impact of government policy, rising costs and the pressure to modernise are all recurring themes, reflecting many of the challenges currently facing working farms across the UK.
Prime Video has also hinted at a far more emotional ending than viewers may expect. In the climactic episodes, a series of setbacks and misfortunes reportedly hit the farm from every direction, creating major tension and “massive upset” among the team.
Since its debut in 2021, Clarkson’s Farm has become one of the most successful factual entertainment programmes on television and is widely credited with bringing mainstream attention to the realities of British farming.
The series has highlighted issues ranging from farm profitability and planning restrictions to livestock management and rural diversification, while also dramatically increasing visitor numbers to Diddly Squat Farm Shop.
The fifth series looks set to continue that formula – combining humour and chaos with a surprisingly detailed look at the pressures facing modern farming businesses.
