Consider canopies

Consider canopies
NOW is the time to think about manipulating winter oilseed rape growth, say specialists. Although backward crops are unlikely to repay treatment in the absence of disease, adjustments to crop canopies in normal and forward crops from fungicides with growth regulatory effects should be worthwhile, says ADAS researcher John Spink.
In practice any crop over 25cm (10in) tall in early March is likely to benefit, he suggests. *
