Cranswick forecasts increase to £6.5m


CRANSWICK, the petfood, agribusiness and food manufacturing group, expects profits of at least £6.5 million for the year to 31 March, against £5m last time.

Shares in Cranswick advanced 22.5p to 316p on the news.

The company said that although volumes were well up, sales values were lower than in the previous year following cuts in raw material costs.
