New Holland to offer Tracker GPS anti-theft devices to customers

New Holland dealers in the UK will be offering Tracker GPS stolen vehicle recovery and vehicle tracking products to farmers to give protection from the devastating effects that loss of vital agricultural and plant equipment can bring.
Alan Samson, NH parts marketing manager, said: “This will enable our dealers to deliver a solution that combines the latest technology to provide a critical defence against vehicle and machinery theft, as well as a new level of usage and performance information.”
Every year, in the UK alone, an estimated ÂŁ50-70m worth of plant and agricultural machinery is stolen but only 5% is ever recovered. Between June 2009 and July 2010, says Tracker, it recovered more than ÂŁ3.5m worth of stolen plant and farming equipment in the UK.
