Reward offered after machinery robbery

A tractor dealer is offering a £10,000 reward after machinery worth tens of thousands of pounds was stolen.
Thieves took four power harrows after breaking into the yard of Hallmark Tractors in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, last Wednesday evening (1 April).
The Kuhn HR4003D harrows, each worth more than £15,000, were loaded onto a company lorry before the lorry was driven through the yard’s gates.
The lorry was spotted heading north between Junctions 24 and 25 on the M1 at about 7.30pm on Wednesday.
John Hall, Hallmark’s service and sales manager, said £1000 was being offered for the return of each power harrow.
A further £5000 was being offered for recovery of the lorry, registration number Y348 KNC, while the firm was willing to give £10,000 for the recovery of all of the items.
“We micro-dot all kit in the yard so the harrows will be identifiable if someone is offered one on the cheap,” Mr Hall said.
“If anyone has seen anything suspicious or has been offered one of the machines, we are urging them to come forward.”
