THE UK market finished higher yesterday as Sterling slipped to recent lows and support still remained fom the shipping market and merchant shorts.

Brussels granted restitutions of 305,000t of soft wheat at Ecu33.49/t, 43,000t of wheat to ACP destinations at Ecu39.95 and 328,000t of free-market barley at Ecu66.00.
