Davies to step down Royal Highland
HYWEL DAVIES is to step down after seven years as chief executive of the
Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland
Mr Davies is resigning to take up the chief executive role at the British Horse Society.
Membership has increased in the last year by 133 to 14,186. About £2 from each member will be used to support the Scottish Farm and Countryside Education Trust.
The societys accounts show that the monsoons which deluged last years Royal
Highland Show cost it £100,000.
