December milk 3.84% over profile

MONTHLY milk production last month was 3.84% over profile, according to figures released this afternoon by the Intervention Board.

Butterfat-adjusted milk deliveries during December totalled 1,192.22 million litres – an increase of almost 110m litres on the previous month.

Cumulative output since last April is now over profile by 124.3m litres (1.18%), compared with 96.42m litres (1.03%) at the end of November.
