INCREASED popularity of the Clayton C4105 has led sprayer manufacturer Landquip to develop a range of demount units to match.
With boom widths from 18 to 36m (60 to 120ft), the Landquip models feature extensive use of aluminium and can weigh up to 1.5t lighter than a comparable steel-boomed machine, claims the company.
To complement the suspension of the Clayton, the boom is hung from a central pivot at the rear of the sprayer. The pivot also includes boom suspension, with a further suspension effect achieved by using individual dampers on each boom section.
Gull-wing folding provides a transport width of 2.5m (8.2ft) and electro-hydraulic in-cab controls are used for all the booms functions.
Tank capacities are 2000-, 2500- and 3000-litres (440, 550 and 660gal), with demounting said to be a one-man, 10min task using mechanical jack stands.
The Landquip Clayton demount sprayer range starts at £19,045.
