Dow agricultural earnings rise

DOW Chemical reported an 18% increase in earnings from its agricultural products.

The US chemicals group fell just below last years earnings growth at the interim stage, but said it might return to positive growth in the second half.

New income was $410 million (£260m) on sales of $4.6bn.
