Dutch packer has accuracy sorted

LATEST development from Dutch company Manter is this potato packing machine which is designed to weigh and convey bags from 2kg to 5kg.

Distributed in the UK by David Harrison, the 10000 WB machine receives graded crop through 10 vibrating channels, with each feeding into an individual weighing bucket.

The machine then automatically selects any combination of bucket samples to achieve consistent bag weights which are pre-programmed from the machines computer.

At the end of the process, a conveyor belt transfers produce to a separate tape sealing or bagging device positioned at the side of the machine.

Accurate weighing and packaging is the claim for Manters potato processing unit.
