East Anglian firm offers local advice
NEW East Anglian advisory company Morley Agricultural Consultants has started operating throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. It offers farmers an independent consultancy service at competitive rates, according to Philip Richardson, chairman of Morley Research Centre.
The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the centre, will run as a separate business and will not receive privileged access to Morley information, he adds.
"It is expected to make a profit in its own right and surplus funds will be transferred back to Morley to further work done by the centre." MAC consists of seven ex-ADAS advisers, including leader Peter Riley.
