Eclipse study aims to boost milk yield
SCIENTISTS are to carefully monitor the eating habits of cows during the solar eclipse this week to prove that cattle do not like eating in the dark.
The Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research is carrying out the research at the Duchy College dairy farm, near Redruth, Cornwall.
The experiment could help farmers to produce more milk from their cows by providing information on the best time to feed them.
