Event just goes from strength to strength…

LAMMA – the UKs first

major agricultural event of

the year – presented visitors

with the latest wares from

more than 230 exhibitors.

Andy Collings and

Andy Moore report

FEW could deny that the Lincolnshire Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Agricultural event – LAMMA – goes from strength to strength. More exhibitors and larger attendance are seen by the show organisers as proof that its low cost policy for both exhibitor and visitor is the correct route to take.

The major benefit of this policy is that LAMMA provides a shop window for smaller manufacturers which, in the run of things, would find it difficult to justify the huge costs involved when exhibiting at, say, the Royal or Smithfield.

There is also even better news on the horizon for the show. Plans are afoot to provide larger indoor areas and improved facilities at the events Newark Showground site. This, says LAMMA chairman, Tony Lighton, should ensure the event will continue to grow in importance for the years to come.
