Failed reform spells disaster for UK wildlife
THE failure to reform the Common Agricultural Policy spells disaster for Britains wildlife, according to columnist Ros Coward in The Guardian.
Ms Coward says the failure to agree is “as great a betrayal of international agreements as Milosovics breaking of agreements over Kosovo”.
She describes the common agricultural policy as the “single most destructive force for our environment and wildlife during the past 25 years”.
