IPSWICH-based Soler & Palau Fans, has introduced a range of extraction fans, designed, the company claims, to achieve new levels of energy efficiency and hygiene in large piggeries and poultry houses.

Powered by single or three phase electric motors, the fans are fitted with aluminium hubs and glass-filled nylon blades.

Smaller models from 250mm (10in) to 450mm (17in) are supplied with plastic mounting plates, while larger fans up to 710mm (29in) are offered with metal wall plates.

The fans are designed to be insulated against dust and moisture to IP 65/class F standards and can be operated at ambient temperature of up to 70C, according to Soler & Palau Fans. (01473-626277)
