Farm students await murder sentence

TWO agricultural students who murdered their best friend because “he got on their nerves” were last night facing life sentences.

Graham Wallis had admitted murdering Russell Crookes in the grounds of Hadlow Agricultural College, Kent, in May last year.

He was the main prosecution witness against Neil Sayers, who was convicted of the crime at Maidstone Crown Court.

The judge will pass sentence on the two in May.
