Farming under scrutiny in river case
THE Environment Agency is investigating the gradual drying up of the Windrush river, which rises in Gloucestershire before joining the Thames at Newbridge.
Scientists will look at the impact on the river of changing agricultural practices, abstraction by water companies and gravel workings.
