Farmworkers take least sick-leave
AGRICULTURAL workers are the least likely staff to take time off work for ill-health, according to a study by the Office for National Statistics.
It found that the rate of absence among agricultural staff was just 2.3%. Health and social workers had the highest rate at 4.6%.
South Yorkshire and Merseyside were the regions with the highest sick leave rate, at 4%.
