Fine way to pass winters day

On a very dull, wet Sunday in January, Mid Wales FWC members met for lunch at the Maesllwch Arms, Glasbury on Wye. What could be better on a winters day than to go out and meet friends, enjoy a traditional roast dinner in a warm atmosphere and not to have to worry about cooking or washing up? Our picture shows Mary Mills (right) presenting a cheque for £500 which the group raised for Bronllys Hospital. It was received by Megan Morgan on behalf of the hospitals League of Friends.
