Flash flood alerts in south and east

FLASH flood warnings have been issued by the Environment Agency to people in the South of England, South Wales, Yorkshire and Cleveland.

Areas of the south were affected by flash floods over the weekend and an agency spokesman said people had to prepare themselves in case the situation worsens.
