Flying the flag
FLYING the Union Flag instantly informs the purchaser of our products that they can be sure of obtaining high quality, safe and honestly produced British Food – unlike those dodgy chickens from the Far East and Holland, or the Beef and Pork fed on sewage sludge from France, or meat from Belgium contaminated with carcogenic dioxins.
To say that the Union Flag does not inspire confidence in the British housewife sounds like internationalist rubbish, and seriously underestimates the intelligence and patriotism of the British.
Of course I realise that my views are politically incorrect and would not be popular among the intelligentsia, who are advocating increasing globalisation, increasing integration in the EU, and the reduction of our national sovereignty, but for ordinary people like myself, the Union Flag remains a potent symbol of integrity and quality.
