Folding subsoilers acquire extra legs
COMPLEMENTING its range of rigid implements, SW Agriservices now manufactures hydraulically folding subsoilers in seven and nine leg versions.
Designed to cope with demanding conditions, the seven-leg model comes in mounted and trailed builds, while the nine leg is trailed only.
All models feature a V-shaped frame with the legs positioned close together to allow soil and trash to flow freely.
Constructed using 250x150x16mm box section, the frames are mounted with Hardox 400 legs and points.
The subsoilers can be equipped with a Ripper leg to provide aggressive soil disturbance or a Stealth leg to give a more passive action.
Use of the Stealth leg, says the company, prepares ground for minimal till drilling.
For transport, the trailed models are carried on braked axles fitted with either 500mm or 700mm diameter flotation tyres.
Supplied with a 750mm packer roller, price for the seven leg mounted model is £9830 which rises to £15,860 for the nine leg trailed version. *
Nine and seven leg folding subsoilers are now included in SW Agriservicess equipment range.
