Former Dalgety chief named as Plantation & General boss

FORMER Dalgety chief executive Richard Clothier, 52, will join Plantation & General Investments, the tropical agriculture and tools group, as chief executive.

The post has been vacant since the resignation of Konrad Legg last year.

Rupert-Pennant-Rea, P&G chairman, said the group would concentrate on Africa. Non-African assets have either been sold or are in the process of being sold, he said.
