Four-stroke cutter for professionals

LOW emission four-stroke petrol engines have been developed for use in Hondas latest four-model brushcutter range.

A switch from traditional two-stroke power has seen the company develop 22cc and 31cc four-stoke petrol engines which can operate at any angle, suiting the rigours of hand-held equipment.

The UMK422LTE and UMK422UT4E are said to be lightweight machines for light brush cutting duties, while the UMK431LT4E and UMK431UT4E are aimed at the professional user.

All models can be equipped with either cutting blades or nylon line, with prices starting at £339. (0181-747 1400).
